I am looking for a set of Polish 'Metro' Camouflage Overalls.

I do apologise in advance if I have this in the wrong place! My Polish is very limited.

Nowadays, special police units in Poland usually use black or navy blue overalls.

In the '90s, they used to use an overall commonly called as "plamiak" (from Polish word "plama" which means "spot"). Looks like that:

As it is a police uniform, you will not be able to buy it in a shop. However there are other ways to get one.

The question is, are you interested in having one for your own?

Thank you for the reply. Oh right, I did not realise it had changed. I think it is a very cool camouflage and I have admired the Polish Police SWAT/Tactical teams that have worn it! I think it was the best looking urban style camo.

So yes, I would like to get my hands on a pair for myself. I am very keen on wearing it.

Well, as I said. It's a police uniform and sometimes it is difficult to get one. Furthermore, it's something more than just an overall. It's a symbol, it's a tradition. It's connected with the birth of Anti-terroristic units in the independent Poland (after 1989 - the end of the socialism). We respect it very much and don't wear it too often.

Anyway, sometimes you can find it on [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] (something like eBay) or on this forum in the "Giełda" (Market). Look for "plamiak" or "AT1".

P.S. Due to the fact that some international guest (like you) visit our website and forum we've started to translate our website into English (haven't finished yet), now I'll also name the categories at forum in English too.

BTW, how did you find our website/forum?
